Passion, Art & Cosmetics

I firmly believe that everyone has to find their own passion-- makeup is mine. Contrary to the belief of many, makeup is more than just a means to be superficial. Sure, it is a mask that we all apply in some form or another. (Some use it far more than others!) That being said, the application and the end result is also a form of art.

Before anything, I am an artist. As a child I was obsessed with drawing. I loved drawing portraits of people and making it the focus of my art. With chalk, pastel, pencil, inks or paints, I could create my own emotions on the faces of my subjects.

Now, my subjects are clients, friends, and family members. Their faces are my canvases and cosmetics are the tools of my trade. My goal is not only to create beauty, but to make my subjects feel beautiful, whether the makeup application is theatrical, fantasy, high fashion, or a simple beauty application.

I would like to share my passion with others through my blog!
